LMCB # 73 - Let's see Trash on your layouts. And... another giveaway!!

A BIG welcome to all of my new followers!  Thanks so much for visiting.  I really got a kick out of reading alot of your comments and could relate to many of you.  Very fun!  :-)   I will be posting the WINNER for my Blog Candy later Monday afternoon.  So stay tuned and don't miss it.
Until then...
Good Evening... Good Morning.. .whatever time it may be... here I am to tell you about the next challenge over at Lasting Memories!!  We want to see you "TRASH" your layouts!  What does that mean??  Use up your scraps, use recycled items, use items from around the house for embellishments or for some different stamping techniques.  The possibilities are endless.
Here is what I came up with...
Everything on my layout that is "Paper" is from my scrap stash.  This DSP is a collection from Stampin' Up called Rainbow Sherbet and it is retired.  I have had these remains since 2006.
Again getting caught up on my daughter's book.  This is her frist swim lesson this year.

Another "Trashy" thing I did...
I cut the bottom of a paper lunch bag and adhered it to the back of my layout.  This works as a great pocket for her swim report card, YMCA ID card and another photo that I didn't want to throw away.  I think I am going to do this to many of the kid's school/activity type layouts so everything is together and in one place.

I'm also excited to show you that I used the SKETCH that Lasting Memories is providing for inspiration.  It was generously donated from Pagemaps!  You are not required to use the sketch for the challenge.  But if it helps you get your mojo going.. .then take full advantage.

And... we have yet another GIVEAWAY this week!!  You definitely want to play!!
Elizabeth is hosting this weeks prize, check this out!!!

Now that I have shown you what to do... get scrappin' and come join us this week over at LMCB 73 and link up your layout by Saturday, February 4th at 9pm EST.

I am also entering my layout over at Paper Playtime #66 - Anything Goes.  Ohh... and they are having a bloghop too.  I'll be heading back later today.

Thanks again for stopping by!

SWEET LO, Michele!! :) I love the FUN colors -- GREAT idea to add the baggie of goodies to the back of the layout -- I can definitely use this idea for some of the cheerleading pamphlets and track programs that I "misplaced" while scrapping -- Now I can add them in with the layout without feeling like I have to re-do anything!! GREAT idea!! :)

Thanks so much for sharing your talent at Lasting Memories this week!! :)
